Boys & Girls Clubs of America's mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. With this in mind, in communities large and small, caring Club staff are there for kids to help with homework, to give them new opportunities through stimulating academic programs and to open doors for youthful aspirations.

In fact, Academy-Award winning actor Denzel Washington, retired Army General Wesley Clark and many others attribute much of their success as an adult to the lessons learned as a member of their Boys & Girls Club. People from all walks of life feel the same way. Boys & Girls Club alumni are shining examples of how Clubs help shape young people and assist them in achieving their dreams. Every child has the potential to BE GREAT and we can all play a part in supporting them as they reach for success.
