New Mini-Camps
NEW MINI-CAMPS FOR CAMPERS AGES 9-13.
This year CUNO Camp is bigger and better than ever! Not only does it have a larger area, now 75 acres, but there are exciting new programs to stimulate your child’s interests. Specialty co-ed programs are offered for two hours each morning. Campers may chose a different specialty each week in order to broaden their horizons or keep the same one for both weeks. Following the two-hour Specialty Camps, the campers participate in traditional offerings like archery, swimming, group games, woodcrafts, etc.
6 & 7 year olds will stay with the traditional camp program and will get swimming lessons each morning. Below is a brief description of each of the mini-camp programs.

Adventure Campers in this group participate in leadership training, low elements and team work exercises. They also help out at the camp area doing some camp beautification projects.
Creative Arts Acting, crafts, puppetry, woodcrafts, and set construction are just some of the activities members of this camp experience. The group will produce a short play they will perform during the Parent’s Day ceremonies. There are two groups, the performers and the stage crew. Performers work primarily on the acting while the stage crew paint and build props and the set.

Nature Hiking, fishing, animal and plant identification, trail blazing and even some crafts (building bird and bat houses, making signs for the trails, etc.) are a few examples of what this mini-camp covers. Campers learn basic survival skills along with leadership training.
Sports This Camp is for campers that can’t get enough on the field or court. The camp focuses on a different sport each day. Campers receive basic instruction along with game activity time. Traditional activities such as arts & crafts are offered on a limited basis and focus on making things for their team like shirts, hats, banners, flags etc.
