Start every school day with a safe, supportive, and energizing morning at the Boys & Girls Club of Meriden. Our A.M. Care program gives children a positive start to the day with academic support, engaging enrichment activities, and reliable transportation to school, all in a structured and safe environment families can count on.
Designed for busy families and growing minds, A.M. Care helps students wake up, settle in, and prepare for a successful school day ahead.
Program Highlights
Homework Help & Academic Support
Students can complete unfinished homework, practice reading skills, or receive morning academic support from caring staff members.
Reading Corners
Cozy reading spaces encourage students to build literacy skills, explore books, and enjoy quiet time before the school day begins.
Brain Games & Enrichment
Interactive games and activities help students strengthen problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork skills.
Mindfulness & Movement Activities
From stretching and movement breaks to calming mindfulness exercises, students begin the day feeling focused, refreshed, and ready to learn.
Transportation to School
Reliable transportation is provided directly to school, helping families simplify busy morning routines with peace of mind.

Available every school day during the 2026–2027 school year.
Membership & Fees
Annual Membership Fee: $75.00
Weekly AM Care Program Fee: $50.00
Weekly Afterschool Enrichment Program Fee: $55.00
Weekly Combined AM Care & Afterschool Enrichment Program Fee: $100.00
Weekly Afterschool Transportation Fee (subject to availability & waitlist): $25.00
Financial Aid is available for those who qualify.
