Camp BGC

Meriden's Best Indoor Summer Day Camp!

Camp BGC serves up summer fun at the Boys & Girls Club of Meriden with ten themed weeks that offer recreational and educational programs in addition to activities in sports, health, science, technology, the arts and music. Our campers get a weekly dose of adventure through off-site field trips and enjoy a half-day of outdoor swimming at Cuno Camp every week!

Week Ten: August 12 – August 16
*Closed on Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth
**Closed on Thursday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day

2024 Registration

Early Bird Registration is officially open for Summer 2024!

Camp BGC Early Bird Base Rate is $165 per week. Multi-week and family discounts are available!
Register your child[ren] before April 1 to take advantage of this discount. The rate to attend Camp BGC increases to $175 per week on April 1, 2024.

AM & PM Care

  • AM Care is available from 7:00AM – 9:00AM every day that Camp BGC is in session. ($30 per child, per week)
  • PM Care is available from 4:00PM – 6:00PM every day that Camp BGC is in session. ($30 per child, per week)

Financial Aid

Financial aid is available for those who qualify. Available opportunities are as follows:

  • CT Care For Kids
    Care 4 Kids helps low to moderate income families in Connecticut pay for child care costs.  This program is sponsored by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood.  We encourage applying to CT Care 4 Kids as early as possible due to demand.
  • The Summer Campership Fund for Meriden and Wallingford
    Established as a safety net for the Meriden/Wallingford Summer Campership, this fund exists to preserve resources in case of need by the Campership Fund. To apply, please contact Boys & Girls Club of Meriden at 203-235-8185.

Financial aid will be reviewed and distributed on a first come, first served basis.
AM and PM Care is ineligible for financial aid.
