The Club is seeking Camp Counselors and specialty instructors for its two youth summer camps, Cuno Camp and Camp BGC. A specialty instructor can be both a General Counselor and in charge of a specialty area. 

All Specialty Instructors will be expected to work with other instructors to achieve an integrated approach.

A Specialty Instructor can hold more one position. Example: Drama & Dance, Kayaking & Nature, etc.

General Counselor: Candidate will work with a group of 15-20 youth ages 6-13, running various activities and games as well as overseeing/supervising them when they are involved in specialty activities. Hours 8:30-4:15 M-F

Arts & Crafts Instructor: Plan and implement art and/or craft activities for groups of youth ages 6-13. Projects may need to be themed to the camp's general theme for that week. Responsibilities include ordering supplies, planning projects, and supervising youth during class. Candidate should be available 3 days a week 9-3:00.

Dance Instructor:  Two days a week to teach various forms of dance to youth at both camps, with an expectation of performances during our biweekly Parents Days.

Drama/Performing Arts Instructor: Work with youth to perform short plays/skits during our bi-weekly Parents Days. Candidate should be available 3 days a week for a minimum of 2 hours each day.

Kayaking Instructor: Two days a week teaching youth boating safety and supervising them as they kayak around Beavers Pond.

Nature Instructor: Two to three days a week teaching youth ages 6-13 about nature in a fun and exciting way. Hiking, orienteering, fishing, ponding, identifying plant and tree species, etc.

Robotics Instructor: Use the VEX IQ Robotics System to introduce youth at both camps to basic engineering, robotics, and programming concepts. Familiarity with the RobotC programming environment a plus. Candidate should be available one day a week as well as all week August 13-17 for our Robotics Camp.

Candidates for these positions should be available a minimum of 7 of the 9 weeks we offer camps, beginning June 18 and ending August 17.
