STEM for All

Our Robotics program began six years ago and has grown in leaps and bounds ever since: we’ve used this enrichment program as a jumping off point to begin a competitive Robotics Team (The Gigabots) and a summer camp. We are now focused on engaging more children of color and girls into this important learning opportunity.

We are currently looking for ways to be more inclusive and recruit and retain the kids that aren’t consistently exposed to technological concepts, including the idea of a career in the sciences. Studies indicate that there is a distinct lack of minorities who make their living in technology and we’re addressing this issue by getting our kids excited about science and helping them to become involved.

The program will work with your child to support attendance at after-hours sessions, remote competitions and “away” games and tournaments.
